English followed by Academic Program

Hello,

I would appreciate your help in this matter. I need IELTS in 6.5 band to study International Business in Red River College, Winnipeg MB. however my result was 5.5. My agent told me that I can apply to English classes following by the academic program and that it would take 4 to 8 months in order to achieve the english level needed.

My question are:

1. If I apply that way, can my husband apply for work permit? Can he even join me in this trip?
2. This way would work in order to apply for PR after?
3. Can I have access to the work part time if I am studying English?
4. HOw would be the visa application?
5. I would have to proof funds for two years? Plus having the money for the academic program?

It will cost you a lot of money to do english program in Canada.

Your visa chances will be lower.

You cannot work during English program so you will have to spend out of pocket during that time.

Only once you join the full time program can your spouse apply for open work permit.

Open work permit for international students spouse is not Garunteed.

Study and retake IELTS. In the short term you will lose out but in the long term you will save a lot of money.
