So someone said apparently this needs to be said or something at the end of your SOP
Can anyone give me an opinion on it ? (I did a rough lazy translation btw sorry :/)
"hereby this letter, I *my name* Swear and avow to make of my higher up studies my most important priority during all my stay in canada, and to leave Canada right after obtaining my certificate in compliance with Canadian laws on temporary residence.
I am conscious of the number of people who stay illegally in Canada and I certify that I only wish to study in this university to fufill my professional life"

Any comments or opinions ? Should I keep the "I am conscious...." part ? Because it's kinda true that there are a lot of (Algerians) who just stay there illegally so I thought that adding that could maybe help haha
(Other precision is a friend (She lives in canada and is well over 18) of mine signed the declaration of support for a minor child since I am 17 still)

Thank you guys !! ((:)

no you do not need to say this. whoever is telling you this is making things up. you can't "swear" to this in a statement of purpose and it would likely have absolutely no force or effect and, to be honest, would raise concerns in the mind of a visa officer.

No not at all. Its almost as when cheats say, 'trust me'.
Just speak of your future prospects, home and family ties and how the degree will help you find better opportunities in your home country. These things show you wish to return.
