End date missing in my reference letter . plz help

hi guys,

i don't have end date in my reference letter since i got that when i was working with that employer(not my current employer ) . so , can i request a letter from my old employer stating my period of employment and attach along my reference letter should be ok ?

Your best course of action would be to get a new letter. Any letter without an end date or dated a long time ago will raise red flags with the VO. Make sure the reference letter includes job duties, salary and benefits, start and end dates (if not current employer). Details about how good a worker you were are irrelevant and not the type of reference letter IRCC is looking for.

If you are unable to get a fresh letter, you can submit the existing letter along with relieving letter (which would have the last working date) and explain everything in an LOE.
