Got my request for passports sat May 17th
timeline

AOR August 23 2007
File Transferred to New York Jan 22 2008
Request for Medicals Feb 17 2008
Did Medicals March 5 2008
Doctor sent medical via regular mail March 11 2008 (Don't know when CIC got them -didn't care to check that)
Request for Passports today May 17th

Advice: More useful to do something else with your time otherwise .....one becomes paranoid over this process!

Always surprised at lengths, time and money people spend getting things like CAIPS or people calling Ottawa up to check if medicals arrived ....(No offense if that makes u happy go ahead)

but it only contributes to higher anxiety levels and paranoia...
I think process is fair and straight forward enough

Seriously...focus on something else ...was not even expecting this today

BTW stressing over it will not change when the reply will come neither does it influence the approval process!!!

that was quick . i am still waiting for mine. i applied at London CHC for FS and i think they have stopped working at london koz they seem to be moving at the slowest possible rate . I think someone needs to give them some catalyst to improve their service.
but am glad for u

When you say NY office, you mean office in NYC or Buffalo. Sorry for such a stupid question.

Passports returned today with COPR and Immigrant Visas

sent passports out May 30th
got them back June 10th
NY office (Not Buffalo)
