First of all congratulations to all of applicants thoes received Permanent resident visa .

I have seen on many forum that CIC is verifying employment related documents through different sources like personal visit or telephone calls to employers and contacting some one like receptionist or security guard and enquired about applicant and if these people couldn't identify applicant and couldn't give proper reply on job related duties, there applications were rejected on the basis of misrepresentations. Is there any one on this forum whose application is successful and can share how his job related documents were varified by CIC. They do Varification for all cases or just choose cases which they feel are suspicious. Experience of successful applicants will help all new applicants .Any comments on this will be highly appreciated.

Do they verify all our previous addresses which we mentioned for last 10 years??

I think there is just a lot of paranoia around. I cannot image that CIC would try to verify employment details with a security guard. Supervisor's contact information is included for a reason.

That being said, I would think that the verification would be done either when there is a certain suspicion of the authenticity of the letter, or simply randomly. I would also assume that most international checks would be done through email for logistical and practical reasons, one of them being time difference.

Be honest in your application, and there is nothing to worry about.
 
And also why they would verify employment by security guard?? Guards are often to changes after every 3 months..so how could someone get vefified by security guard....
