Employment reference letter

Hello, I have 7 years total experience but for the NOC I am using for PR application I have only 3 years experience. Is it okay if I only show employment/reference letter for this 3 years? I don't want to waste time contacting my other employers since they are not related to the NOC I am using anyway.

Okay, another question. A friend has 4-5 years experience in the NOC he is using for PR application. But he is having difficulty getting reference letter from one employer where he worked for around 1 year. Is it okay if he shows just 3-3.5 years experience from 1 employer? In both the companies he had software engineer designation.

Yes.You will get points for what ever experience you show and have proof of it (ref letter)
