To the attention of the experts and seniors..

My AOR was on Feb 19, and I have given my current employment to claim points and given a letter from my Head of department in the company letter head together with his business card. All was fine until yesterday..

Today he informed me that he is going on a 6 month long holiday to his home country for personal reasons. He wouldn’t be here to answer calls or reply emails at the time of verification. How can I resolve this issue? Should I raise a web form to update cic about this and give a new letter of another manager who can provide reference to me. Please help urgently..

Chances of IRCC really depends on your luck and how solid your evidence is. You can pass eligibility without even getting one phone call which is usually reserved for when IRCC can't verify your history on open soruces.

With that being said, definitely raise CSE and inform them of this and try to supply new contact details so you would be on the safe side.

Open sources is information available on the internet. There are many different ways that IRCC uses to verify employment. As long as your work experience / employment is real, there's nothing to worry about.

Hi @scylla
I am a PNP outland applicant under EE. I am applying after ITA. I am attaching last 3 years experience to claim points.
I have done B Tech and also have a valid visitor visa. In my visitor visa application my history of work was also related to my current profession (IT Job).
I am working in a small organization ant it have a good online presence like LinkedIn, google business profile, website, Facebook etc.
I am working from home since Covid and now in Canada , to visit my brother since June, 2022 and going back on 13 Oct 2022 and here also working from home. Does CIC again verify the experience since it has already been verified by province for nomination? For work experience, I am attaching following documents:

1. Reference Letter.
2. Last 6 months salary slips.
3. 1 Year Bank Statement where Salary gets credited.
4. Last 3 years Income Tax Return Forms.

Please let me know if that is good?

Thanks, the documents that I am attaching are enough? I hope I am not doing over documentation regarding work experience?

Does your company have any Canadian customers or clients or do business in Canada?

well They might have because company does not share customer information with us. But I do have developed websites that have Canadian addresses. Will it make any significance having Canadian clients?

Hard to know how to respond to your question in that case.

If your company does any business in Canada or has Canadian customers / clients, then you need to be holding a work permit to legally work from Canada.

I work for my company directly, its up to my company with whom they work. I am not directly working with any Canadian company and I am getting paid by my employer back in India. How CIC will know that whether my company works with Canadian clients or not?
