Employment Records

Hey!

So my wife and I got our invitation to apply under CEC, and she has work experience in Canada, but a couple of the places may not supply an employment record (to put it simply, they're not good people).
In the case that she (or I really) cannot get an employment record for one of the jobs we listed, what would you suggest? Would explaining that in a letter of explanation be sufficient?

You can try to get reference letter from one of your ex-colleague in plain paper and get his contact info updated, explain the same in LOE.
