Hi Guys,

I received and ITA and need to upload my documents, and I want to clarify the differences (if any) between Employment Records vs. Letter of Employment.

Employment Records is described as the following:
You must provide proof of work experience for your current job and for each past position you listed. Proof must include a reference letter from your employer and pay stubs, if you have them. The reference letter must:
be an official document printed on company letterhead
include your name, the company’s contact information (address, telephone number and e-mail address), the signature of your immediate
show all positions held while employed at the company
include these details: job title, duties/responsibilities, job status (if current job), the dates you worked for the company, the number of work hours per week and your annual salary plus benefits.
You must scan all documents for this period of employment and save them as one file. (You must create a separate file for each period of employment.)

Letter of Employment doesn't have any given description so I'm not sure what exactly I need to provide. Should I upload the Employment Records of my current job also into the Letter of Employment section, thus providing the same document twice?

Employment record is about your positions and salary rate changes within the same company. For example, if you are a marketing coordinator in 2014 in company A and promoted to marketing manager in 2015 as well as got raised on salary, both positions and salary rate should be display in Employment record.

Letter of employment is you are working at current job. for example, if you are working in company A in 2014 and changed to company B in 2015 til now, then you only need letter of employment from company B, not A. But you need Employment record from company A tho.

If you positions and salary rate haven't changed since you started, then it's pretty much same.
