Employment Records:

I have been working in same company from beginning of my career, I have worked in different countries and cities in last 8 years, so I presented my work experience in express entry profile accordingly.
Totally I added 6 rows of employment in my profile. Now when I upload document it is asking to upload employment records for 6 locations.

I am not sure how to proceed.

Can somebody help me please?

I got ITA on 11th July now I am filling out my applications.

Thank you

If you've worked in the same NOC with the same organization, keep it to 1 line item. And your reference letter can provide the detail of your work-related travel history which can be further substantiated in Personal history section where needed.

General rule of thumb - 1 line item per NOC per employer in that order. In other words, create an addtional line item only if you have either worked with a different NOC for the same employer OR if you have changed employers.

Thanks for your reply sir, but I worked in different locations with same employer.. also everytime my role got changed like junior developer or senior developer. If make it everything to single line then which location should I choose, I can choose only one location correct?

2008 to 2009 - chennai,India
2009 to 2010 - South America
2011 to 1013 - Chennai, India
2013 to till now -Canada..

Thank you

My husband has a similar situation. We did as you've described above. In the letter for 'Employment records' all the positions are listed as separate entries. We will be uploading the same letter for each entry in the application.

If the NOC did not change, you can still show that as a single employment with location India because the company is probably headquartered there. And your reference letter can show the details. Else you can show 4 rows with everything same except for country and add 4 reference letters, one for each place.

If the NOC changed from 1 place to another, show multiple lines and add corresponding reference letters for each NOC. Your choice how best to describe your situation.

Hope that clarifies. All the best!

How about the pay stubs, is it fine to upload last 3 months pay stubs or I need to upload all the pay stubs in single file for Canadian salary?

Also I don't have pay stub for 2009 to 2010 - South America since my company paid me as allowance.
Is it mandatory to upload pay stuns all positions?

Pay stubs aren't mandatory. Only reference letters are mandatory. Pay stubs are supplementary evidences which can be presented to bolster your case when you lack proper work reference letters. CIC doesn't really care about what you were paid - they aren't extending you a loan.

I just saw that the documents to upload list says I need to upload a letter of employment? What is that and how is it different from Employment Records.

For employment record i will upload proof of employment, pay stubs, t4.
What should I upload for letter of employment? Should i provide my offer letter (offer of employment) there?

Not sure why you're being asked for this. Did you answer "Yes" to the question 'Do you have a valid job offer?'

Letter of employment is the work reference letter for your current organization. It is slightly different from Offer letter - that letter lists the details of your job offer and would be issued before joining the organization. Letter of employment would be issued after you started working in the organization.

Yes Asivad, I did say Yes to I have a valid job offer because I am currently working in Canada on work permit. Did I misinterpret this ?

Yes. You should say Yes only if you have an LMIA supported job offer. No harm done. If possible, edit it back to 'No' in your post-ITA profile and this requirement should disappear. Else do as I mentioned in the previous post.
