Employment location on PGWP??

Hi all,

I need some advice. I just got my PGWP from the border at Fort Erie, but when I got home I noticed that although the employer name and profession were stated as 'ANY' (as it's an open WP), employment location was stated as 'YORK', which is where I live in Toronto.

I looked around this site and found some old threads saying it's not a problem because it's not stated in the conditions on my permit that I am limited to a location. However, I called IRCC and the agent on the phone said I should apply to have it changed because it could cause problems. But this means I will have to send away my work permit for a month and I need it to apply for jobs!

Should I just leave it? Has anyone experienced something similar or had any problems with this? ???

I think you should get it chanegd.. I had a problem with an employer before and they did not give me a job based on the location. So better be safe.
Also, I think I am a little to late so what happened ? Did you got accepted in the different location?
