Employment letter and matching NOC verification.

Hi guys, can you clarify 2 things for me:

1. 3 year foreign work experience doesn't have to match your University degree ? My university degree is Network Engineer , but my NOC for 3 years experience is NOC 2242


2. I have reference letter from employer, can i upload it here and make sure that it will match my NOC and that nothing big is missing there before i get ITA ?

Correct; work experience and education do not have to match for EE.
(For some PNPs, they do have to match.)

Hi guys, can the work experience be gained while studying, as long as it is not an internship, or does it only count after I must have gotten a bachelors degree or a qualifying degree?

If it was in Canada, it does not count.

If it was outside of Canada, it counts if it was in NOC skill level A, B, or O.

I asked this same question by email to the SINP. They basically said that a complete application is needed in order for them to make an assesment. My guess is that it depends on your experiencie.

SINP's application guide says very clearly that you must have at least 1 year of work experience that matches your education. There was a post on this forum within the past week from someone who's SINP application was rejected because of this.

As far as I know, OINP does not have any such requirement.

Is that their exact wording ?
