Hi folks!
I got my PPR a while ago and will be moving to Canada in the next couple of weeks.
So now I’m thinking about the difficulties of finding a job there and I have some questions:
• Are Canadian employers really interested in the reference letters from your home country?
• Is it a must requirement to provide these letters?
• Should it be a generic letter or each potential employer will prefer to contact my previous employer directly?
• Is it ok to provide a scan copy of a reference letter or only originals are accepted?
Will be thankful if someone shares his/her experience regarding this aspect of employment.
I intend to work in the financial field if that matters.
