Here's some context & something that came to my mind now that my application is in process & since I am going to report the extra income in this year's tax season. Also, I didn't think of it since I had filed my return already on March 23, 2020.
I was approached by ex co-workers to help them manage tech side of their business. Basically doing after hours dev work etc. We didn't really sign any contract either. They just throw some work my way & I invoice them & they pay me at a decided hourly rate. The first invoice I sent them was after I had sent my citizenship application (received on 16th June).
I am currently full time employed which obviously I have already included.
Do I now need to update the application with this information or is it okay to leave if off since my invoice date falls after I sent my application?
