Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all!!
i'm new to this forum but find it extremely helpful.
I am now preparing all documents to apply for candian skilled worker visa.
i have 4 years of experience, degree, funds therefore i gain 68 points. but my problem is the letter confirming my experience.
Company i was working for is only able to provide me with the length of employment, my position and terms of employment ( part-time, full time)
How do i prove my experience, my duties?could somebody, who already got through this process, provide me with the answer and may be kindly will share a format of the letter.
Kind Regards
and Good luck everybody in their process.
:D

Dear Sirrr,

Try to convince your employer. Because this is crucial to mention job duties. There is no standard format.

Good luck sir.

Hi Sky.GB,

What i did was prepare the experience letter, detailing the list of duties and responsibilities i did and then printed it with the company's letterhead and have my colleague sign it. I also asked for the business card and attached it to the experience letter.

DEAR zsashimi
it will work if ur friend is ur senior. but it better to inform ur management coz one day chc gonna call ur company to confirm ur duties.

Yes, the colleague is a senior. It is better to inform the management if your manager or supervisor is willing to sign it. For my case, even though my manager will sign it, it would be against the company's policy. Although, if and when CHC will call her to confirm the duties and responsibilities, my manager will have to confirm it as it the same duties and responsibilities I have listed came from the global database we have for the company. I just downloaded it from the very same site which my manager has access to.

now i donot think any issue . u can go ahead.

You need to mention your Job responsibilities on the companies letter head and attach business card of the person who is signing this letter.

This document is very important for the processing of your case. Try to convince your manager or HR person to get this document.

Best of luck.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
i requested a letter from my previous employer- they said no, as it is a very big uk company they will not go against company policies.
so,what i am going to do is ring my previous manager and ask her to do it.
and will attach it to the standard letter confirming my employment.
hope it works
Thanks again

Sorry, another question.
do the letters confirming emplotyment need to be max 1year old for application. i mean, i have a letter dated 1 yr ago from my old job. will it be ok, because it is a previous job??? this company doesnt exist anymore,so no chance for me to get a new letter.
Thanks
:o

Attach a letter explaining the circumstances on why you wont be able to get a new one.

Thank you zsashimi!!!!
just seems like i can fail in applying because of stupid policies of ex employers

It is so hard to ask ex-bosses to sign but it is a good thing that there are forum such as this where we can ask help. I got this idea from someone in this forum ;)
