employment certificate not being issued by previous employer

please help....
my previous employer decline to give me a employment certificate because i did not finish my contract to them and accepted a new job. I am worried because I will be applying for my permanent residency next month . And I have read that its one of the requirements. I don't know what to do because i had requested them for several times and still the answer is no. I have been asking people but they always say its a must. but what should i do if i cant get it to my previous employer. Does anyone have the same problem with me. ? Can I just gave my employment contract, job offer , t4 copy, pay slip and a copy of my work permit instead just to prove that i had worked with them? Can anyone help me what to do.

you need to submit the document mention your job discription, salary, position, and time of employment. you need to submit atleast 4 years experience letter to gets the full points.

Firstly there is nothing as good as the re leaving letter.

Secondly, if u cant manage one, u can provide the e-mail conversations with ur employer trying to satisfy the VO as to the efforts you have done to obtain the re leaving letter, and aside draft a brief explanation w.r.t the non submission of the said doc and reasons thereof.

im confuse whats the re leaving letter ? did you mean my resignation letter that i have sent to my previous employer?thank you for your reply.

I believe its relieving order. A letter stating Discharging you officially from all resposibility you are holding during your employment. I think you can prove your service by other mentioned decuments. If you have a cotract stating your roll and responsibilities , which matches the official cic prescribd duty need not worry jus send all relevant copies alongwith explanation letter.

Hi Yuichi,

U can do simply by

1) Collect as much evidences of ur employment as u can.
2) Add the emails exchanged with ur employer/HR.
3) Draft a letter mentioning ur jds in detail, with joining date, position, salary etc.
4) Attach a clarification letter for the reasons of not submitting Ref. letter.

Aforementioned info will do for u

Include the following docs as well If u can, easily!

5) Ur pics at the work place
6)Ref letters from ur colleagues, clients/customers
