Employment and EE form. Please help.

Hello experts,

I have some question regarding my employment. So originally my contract was from may 2014-dec 2015 (1.5 years) with makes me qualify for CEC. I got my OOPNP nomination yesterday but then my employer let me know that due to some funding, my contract was cut to end of Oct. I'm expecting a draw this Friday. So my questions are:

1. On the EE Form, Does XYZ have a job offer in Canada?, do I have to change from YES to NO now? it's still October so Im not so sure

2. Also, I'm on Open Work Permit or PGWP, Under Intended work in Canada section, Does XYZ have a job offer in Canada? Do I keep it as YES or NO ? Since again, it's still October so I'm still employed? ( I'm not under LMIA)

3. Is XYZ currently working in Canada?, Again , same question. Do I keep it as YES or NO ? Since again, it's still October so I'm still employed?

Please answer. I know it's fine cause I still have 1 year work experience but I want to make sure.

Without an LMIA you have to answer no to questions 1 & 2 anyway. For 3 you can say yes and then update to no when your contract ends.

Although, I thought you can say yes to 1 and 2 because at the end they will ask if a positive LMIA was issued for the job offer in Canada and I can just say NO to that question but yes to 1 and 2. Is it noy?

you could and it would calculate your points correctly. but doing that will generate extra document requirements post ITA - employment offer. ie LMIA documents.
