Hi,

I need help. The employment agency I have worked for in the past says that they would not include a job title in the job letter as it is against their template.

Please help!

That is odd! I have heard about job duties not being mentioned on the reference letter but not job titles. Either way don't worry, some companies do that. Compose a letter explaining the situation, and attach it with the ref letter you got from your company. There should be no problem at all. VO will understand.

Best of luck,

I'm the main applicant for e-apr
i have the same issue with my spouse's work experiences for employment letter . he works at the bank.
they don't provide job description and etc.
so i delete my spouse 's work experiences, because i don't need to claim points for it.
so that way i don't need to provide employment letter and etc.

Well you don't have to delete the section. As I mentioned before some companies have their own regulation and rules, and I have seen cases that don't provide job descriptions. All you need to do is to explain this through a cover letter. VOs will understand. Worse comes to worst they will call the company and verify. Never seen an application get rejected because of this.

All the best,

They are not providing the Job responsibilities as well.

Read through this thread, it might help you.

If you have job offer, contract or other documents that can help with job description/title you can include it in the explanation letter.

You'll need to create a unique PDF with:
Explanation letter
Company letter
Other documents (offer, contract....)
Copy of communications with the Agency requesting the letter and they refusing to do it as asked (could be tricky, be sure to don't write anything wrong)

Ask your employer to provide you letter on their company letter head that they dont provide job responsibilities/job designation etc. ask them to give you in writing so that you can send it to CIC.
generally this is all intentionally done. you surely need letter for responsibilities/designation. you can ask your employer that you need this for some banking or real estate work etc. in worst case , get whatever you can in writing from employer and get any reference letter from your immediate boss stating your work but he needs to provide his signature on company letter head. this is just best somebody can do.
You can show all tax slips which shows your employer name as well. advise CIC about your situation ,for me , it is not right ,employer can not deny these things.
