Hi all,
I have a reference letter from a job I quit in 2015. In 2017, foreseeing that I might apply for Canadian residency in the future, I've requested an Employer Reference Letter to the person that was my manager at the time I worked there (he was still working in the same company in 2017). The letter meets all the requirements and is dated 2017.
The thing is: I've recently applied for residency (express entry) but this former manager no longer works there - in fact, he moved to the USA, therefore the contact details in the letter are no longer valid. Again, I quit in 2015, got the letter from the appropriate manager that was working there when he signed it in 2017 but he no longer works there.
My question: is a written, signed statement from him amending/updating his contact details and showing himself open to be contacted if further information is needed enough for my valuable Reference Letter to be accepted?
