Employer name mispelt in WorkPermit

Hi Guys!

I am July 2014 CEC Applicant. I have submitted all my documents and I am eagerly awaiting my PR. However just noticed that my employer name has been wrongly typed in my Work Permit. Could see that most of the part is correct except for just 3-4 letters. My questions are:-

a. Will this be an issue for my PR Processing and do I need to correct this or inform CIC? I have not faced any issues till date regarding this.
b. My work permit will be expiring in April 2015 and I will be applying for an extension so I am not sure if I should bring this up in the new work permit or should I do this before that.

Please advice!!

update your work permit , this is a mistake they made , it will be allowed to update, but you need write a letter to CIC explain it too , if you have sent applications .

about how to update your work permit , I heard that just go to nearby .... sorry, please search this forum, I didn't remember much .

in short don't worry, it can be resolved.

-- No. I had the same problem. I have already completed by landing etc... If you have provided sufficient proofs then NO

--- Ensure that your new WP is correct

I was also thinking that if i try to modify things now it could create confusion.Since I have all the required documents... I hope things should go smoothly.
