Supervisor letter should be on company letter head? Or just plain paper?

Can any one quickly advise?

Any letter to evidence your Canadian work experience has to be on the company letterhead.

Same thing happened with me and I got it from our head office (Located in Bangalore). I applied in March and has received medical request. As long as it states your Canadian duties and time you should be okay as these types of letters are issues from head offices for most of the companies. Hope this helps !!!

Hi all,
I dont want to scare anyone as I heard from few that unless the duties are mentioned in company letterhead, it will not be accepted. Worst is that now a days CIC rejecting the application (even after AOR) if they identify this during the process without even asking the explanations. So be careful on what you submit and ensure you submit the right documents in the right and agreed way.
I hope no one loose their money and time because of this.

Thanks Sandeep..
In your case, it worked well..
As per seniors advise, i should go for letter from canada HR..

india1981... it all depends how your present your case. If your Canadian HR is not ready to give such a letter, get the refusal in a letter or email and submit the same to CIC. Justify your case.

india1981, I think you are wasting of your time.

1) If you don't have document as per checklist then prepare clarification note with supporting documents. But mandatory document should be there such as such as language proficiency, Birth certificate , PCC etc...

2) review your file with immigration lawyer for your satisfaction :)

3) Apart from checklist document, sometime immigration officer will ask additional document where you need to provide docs.

Hence, All the best for your file and PR.

I am in the same boat like India1981. I am an Intra-company transfer from India to Canada office and working on work permit in Canada currently. I am getting reference letter from my employer on letter head including salary, hours worked, etc., which has Canada office address. However, it does not only include my jobs and responsibilities.
Somehow I convinced my employer and they are ready to give the reference letter with only my jobs and responsibilities on letter head, which has India office address.
I am planning to use both letters, will it help? Please advise everyone. Appreciate your help, many thanks

PMM, Andy2109, jes_ON please help.. thank you

Omshri,
Your case might bring in a bit of confusion for the Visa Officer handling your case. Reference letter from Canadian employer but duties / responsibilities briefed by Indian Office. I would suggest, if your Canadian HR is refusing to add D&R's in the letter, get the refusal from them in writing (mail or letter) and attach the same with your application.
Submit a covering letter clearly explaining your situation of why you are submitting D&R's letter from India office.
