Employer changed the name. Employment reference letter question

Hi all,
My former employer has changed the name and now they are only able to provide me with the reference letter on the new company letterhead. Is it ok if they'd put note stating the the company has changed the name from ABC to XYZ?

As long as they state it in your reference letter, i think its good to go.
Attach a LOE to further clarify this to the officer and in case they need more info they will ask. Good luck.

This happend to me with three of my last four employers. I had to ask again for the letters of refence, and in two cases I asked for the note regarding name change to be written in the document. I would also suggest you get a social security history as a supporting document.
