Dear Canadaforall,

That must be ok. And explain as clearly as possible.

Good Luck!!

Dear indira_prab,

Minimum 1 year of Reference Letter is mandatory for eligibility in the relevent NOC.
Get the required Reference Letters from as many Employers as possible.

Reference Letters from the HR/Supervisor/HOD etc. are ok.

About UK experience,,if he has legal experience, try & collect proofs. If not possible, explain the same yourself (I mean ur husband must explain)

So to mention the part time jobs he did there or leave them out of the application is ur call.

Good Luck!!

is it mandatory to have reference lettter from immediate supervosor or the perosnnel officer???

i have reference letter from managing director who is 3 levels higher than me.Instruction mention that letter from immediate supervisor or HR officer. Should i submit that reference from MD?

The job duties should be same as application and in reference letter?

No problem, anyone knows about your duties can sign that reference letter.
The condition is if a verification call ariives, that MD will have to recognize you and reply them afiirmatively about your duties.

about your PM to me:

take this test on this page to know how much you score.

For Bachelors you'll get 20-22 points. in IELTS, you'll get 4 in Listening if that score is above 7.5. for all other sections anything over 6.5 will get you 4, else 2.

Bank Cerficate Example: This is to certify that Mr. ________, address:___________ has been maintaing a Fixed Deposit amount of CAD $XXXXXXX with us since Dated .

Any bank frequently issue these typa certs. Go and have yourself prepared. I dont know about Mercantile Bank. I got my account in CITI NA.

Thanks for your reply. Regarding IELTS if someone scores exactly 7.5 or over in Listening will provide 4 points. Likewise, in rest three modules if someone scores exactly 6.5 or over which will give 4 points in each section. You have mentioned scores over 7.5 give 4 points. I think you are wrong.

If you Employer reference letter verabage is very similar to that of job duties that your mentioned in application then most probably they will call. This trend is what I observed for 3-4 cases of my friends that I had been closely watching.

This is what happened with my friend's case (latest) in March '10 -
1. The person who signed the reference letter received call from a third-party. He could make out from the voice mail that was left.
2. The third-party immediately called to other number that was mentioned on the footer of the reference letter. Typically all letterheads have standard footer.
3. This number was board number of the office and receptionist guided it to HR
4. HR was able to confirm only validity of employment but did not confirm the job duties
5. The person who signed reference letter called back the verification agency and confirmed the details. Questions were - Date of employment, current role, salary, location, date of last promotion, and confirmation that you are the "REAL" supervisor.
Hi cancer24,
I picked 6 points which are similar to my duties from NOC duties website out of 10 points. I did not change the sentences given in the website about the duties and responsibilities in my employment reference letter. I got signed the letter by my supervisor. Will it be problematic for the processing of immigration in Canada. Thanks in advance.

Gulshan, if you read the post of jnathan properly, it says exactly what you have explained.

I am not able to understand the following ...

If you Employer reference letter verabage is very similar to that of job duties that your mentioned in application then most probably they will call.

Please clarify ....

what I understand with that statement is that it is not usual to get the employer reference written in exactly the same way that the job duties you wrote in the application form. It is the same situation when you copy and paste the job duties from the NOC list webpage to the reference letter and the application form.
