yes rejected due to CEC ineligibity
applying as fsw now.
So I was concerned since they have access to my old files, I want to make sure everything is in order this time.

Make sure to mention your previous rejection in your new profile, including previous application no. So you dont get rejected for not mentioning it next time around.

All the best!

I worked in the UK or 2 years under NOC Code 2121. I worked in India for 3 years with NOC Code 4163. The problem is I have got the reference letters from my employer in the UK, my present employer as well as my 2nd employer. The only reference letter which is missing is 3rd employer where I ended on very bad note and I didnt even got the relieving letter. I wish to ask if that could be a major issue. I have the payslips, offer letter, PF contribution letter as well as Income Tax Returns Letter (Form 16). What shall be done in this case? I will write Letter of Explanation, but will they consider this? Wouldnt they see I am able to submit three reference letters? Please help!

Like I said in the other thread, I just sent a letter of explanation with supporting docs for one of my employers and the reference letters for other employers. They understand that some employers may not give letters. I dont know if you can use 2 different NOCs and whether they add up etc. All you can do is give all the docs you have. I dont think you should hide some employment period or anything, be as upfront as possible.

I have that ready Letter of Explanation, however NOC 4163 makes like 3 years of work ex and I have missing Employer Reference Letter for one of the job...So I am anxious...I am seeing people are saying that 3 years essentially could be in different NOCs...but but research suggests they have to be in same occupation. I think I could send email to my 3rd employer in India asking for Employment Reference Letter, but I think my self respect is so big....Don't know what to do.......Btw are you in India or as I see from your status in landed in Canada..I will appreciate if you could answer some of my queries (Like is it even worth...??? or I could PM you or so) and I feel stuck or so

I had the same issue. I did NOT have letter for my employer and I worked for them for 2 out of my 4 years work ex, so it made a big difference in my CRS points. But my supporting docs were enough. I landed in Canada last week.

Also all my reference letters are addressed to High Commission of Canada, New Delhi. This was the only way they agreed to gave me a reference. I hope this wont be an issue.

Also Following is the % similarity between my Reference Letters and NOC Code:

Current Job (2 Months), India: 57% of NOC Code 4163 (Reference Letter as per CIC); Pharma Market Researcher, Consutant and Business Development Officer
Previous Job 1 (18 Months), India: 42% of NOC Code 4163 (Reference Letter as per CIC); Pharma Market Researcher and Business Development Officer
Previous Job 2 (10 Months), India: 50% of NOC Code 4163 (I have Reference Letter from Current Employee on Plain Paper which I will get Notarized); Pharma Market Researcher and Business Development Officer
Previous Job 3 (10 Months), India: 30% of NOC Code 4163 (Reference Letter as per CIC); Only Pharma Market Researcher
Previous Job 4 (24 Months), United Kingdom: 44% of NOC Code 2121 (Standard Reference Letter with Salary, Hours Per Week, Position + Reference Letter from Colleague on Plain Paper which I'll get Notarized); Only Clinical Pharmacologist

Now I am getting anxious about % Similarity with NOC Code..Considering that I am only involved in part of the job and there is no other code matching. I am thinking that I might be an OCD. I am writing this even after when NOC Unit emailed be back saying the codes I have selected are perfect!

Please note Job Code 4163 consists of Market Researchers, Consultants and Business Development Officers
Please note Job Code 2121 consists of all Biology Based Research Scientists

Yes you are OCD. Also, what if you are ineligible? What are you going to do about it? Lie on your application? Hide your work experience? Both are very bad ideas. Just honestly state what you have and hope you are approved!

If I get reference letters from my colleague on official letter head along with his business card. Would i still need to get it notarised? I don't report to him directly but he is at a senior level than mine.

Try to get the reference letter on a plain paper from your colleague in that organization with his job designation, contact details and signature.
Then get this letter notarised. Also, if possible, get this colleague's business card and attach it.

Does your colleague have the authority to sign letters provided on letterhead? If yes, then it is fine. If not, then better get this letter on a plain paper and get it notarised.

It has stated on the letter they do not disclose duties as it not allowed as per Data Security Regulations 1998. However I have the letter from Ex-Manager with Business Card: NOC Code 2121

2nd Job: Pharma Consulting & Market Research Firm - 10 months - Employement Reference Letter as CIC Standards: NOC Code: 4163
