I'm afraid duties are really super important in the reference letter.
hours per week are also important as definition of full time is open to debate.

can you get your employer to give you an updated reference letter that you can try to submit?

Totally agree with lpc19800 here.. job duties are very important in the reference letter

I know many companies do not provide roles and responsibiltiies in the employment verification letter. However you can get client reference letter or other co-worker reference letter with some management designation on letter head to overcome the same.

Also attach any mail from your employer stating that they wont give the letter with responsibilties etc, so that CIC knows that you attempted to get those details.

All the best!

Yes, you must get a new letter and send it to CPP-Ottawa !

I have sent each Pay stub along with my application . Would you think it would help ?

Another question , is there anyone whose application got rejected because of missing responsibilities ? Or they send you the mail requesting more information on that ?

pay stub is a requirement as it is so that wont help if your employment letter is incomplete. you will get rejected if u do not get act quickly. they wont request for new information, you will get a straight rejection. i suggest you get on it asap

Pay stub is not a requirement, its optional

Paystubs will not help. You need to send a letter of reference indicating # of hours worked per week and main duties/responsibilities, along with all the other required details outlined on the checklist.

MANY. It's probably the main reason applications are refused (along with a mismatch of responsibilities with NOC code).

Sometimes a VO will give you the chance to respond, but they are not required to. It is your responsibility to provide the required information in your application.
