Hello

So i have a question to anyone who might know. Basically my 2nd temporary work permit has recently expired. I have since changed my status to a visitor on a TRV (temporary resident visa). I have been trying to get a nomination with the provincial government that could come anytime, my application is in and we now wait. I was acknowledged as a 'skilled worker'.

So now I am on a visitor visa I am unable to work, which I haven't since my work permit expired BUT I am still officially employed. Is this legal? I am legally in the country and am not due back to work for another 4 weeks (in which time I will have my new permit). I have not worked or received any income within this time, other than vacation pay which I am due to receive in coming weeks.

If anyone knows I'd really appreciate hearing from you

hi, you are officially employed its not any problem, make sure u are not on payroll. take a leave of absence from your employer that probe that u r away from work. u may get vacation pay.
