They are just asking to wait. I need to go to India for family emergency. My representative is going to send a letter explaining my emergency and request to issue coPR ASAP.

Even if you do have a copr, you still need to apply a PRTD to come back.
Or do you have a work permit or something that is not expired yet to come back?

I personally wouldn't wait for the COPR. Unfortunately it's unlikely IRCC will expedite your COPR based on the letter from your rep.

If you have an emergency and need to travel, then go ahead and travel.

You can then wait for your COPR to be issued from outside of Canada.

Thank you for response. Case is that I can’t take vacation from my job and I will have to quit job but I have employer specific work permit right now.
so, I really need my coPR before I quit and go
