Hi Friends,

My spouse did her medical test under CIC panel physician in Kerala, India. She got the eMedical sheet but without the Online Consent section(in second page normally). She was given only one page and she asked the doctor many times about the new format but they denied telling that this is what they give to everyone. My lawyer told that this can be a huge problem with CIC. I am a bit worried now. Please kindly share your views.

Thanks
Rob

Not sure what you're referring to here. Under EE, you only upload that 1 page information sheet provided by the clinic after medicals. It lists your UMI, Passport number, test details, has a photograph affixed on it and is stamped by the clinic/doctor. What you have is perfectly fine.

Not sure why your lawyer feels otherwise.

I got it done in Waterloo, Ontario and even my second page mentions the same content, i.e. without online consent.

Not sure what does that mean?

Actually my souse doesn't have second page. Only 1 page is provided. When I did my medicals 5 months before in Canada, I got 2 pages. And the second page has a section called "Consent Provided".

Upload just that 1 page, it would suffice.

Hey 89Robinm

I have sent you a personal message, could you please respond to query?

Its related to adding your spouse on your Express entry profile.

I saw you message. I don't know exactly how my lawyer updated my marital status in CIC. I just sent my marriage certificate to my lawyer as he was requesting the same.

I got the same slip from emedical - consent not provided.
I have my medicals passed now so it's fine.

@One_Topsy

On the second page: The exact lines are as below -

Consent Provided

You have not yet provided online consent for eMedical to process your health examinations"

Was it the same for you as well?

Were you having 1 page or 2 pages?

When I did for me 5 months before in a Canada, I had the last section "Consent Provided" like below in the eMedical sheet second page.

=================
Consent Provided:

On 11 AUG 2015 you consented online to using eMedical to process your health examinations where available.
===============

Even I have Consent not provided sentence on my e-medical page, but my medicals are passed without issue.
So nothing to worry.
