Hi All,

I am new to this forum. My wife is sponsoring me & we are gathering documents before application.

I did my upfront medical 2 days back. Doctors office only gave me below paper as proof. Is it valid?

Please help me out

yes, the piece of paper your doctor gave you should be the "emedical receipt". You will need to put this in your application package, and when received CIC will use that to connect your results to your application. you do not get the full medical report, you only get the receipt that has your personal information and picture on it.

Okay, we did the medical yesterday even though we sent our applications (Sponsorship, PR and OWP) in March 2016. Initially we wanted to hold off because we read on the forum that sometimes they ask the principal applicant to redo the medical. This month we decided to do the medical. We have not received a UCI for principal applicant and so when we went to the doctor she indicated that she could not do it without the UCI and advised us to send it ourselves.

I asked for assistance on the forum yesterday and was advised by Zhuerma [Thank you!!!] to give the Doctor the UCI on the extension of stay. So today we brought a photocopy of the extension of stay with the UCI so the Doctor could send the medical to CIC via e-medical.

My question is, is there a place on CIC website to confirm that they have received the medical? I know that it will not received by CIC immediately as the test results have to come back before the Doctor can send the file to CIC.

Thank you for your feedback. Much appreciated.
