I paid $5 and request is from canada. It took me to a page where it was saying i have to pay . Please give your suggestions, did i do some thing wrong

My bad, from withing Canada it's the Privacy Act under which it is free to request the notes.

CPC-Ottawa has requested to send my passport for VISA stamping (Temporary resident Visa), but even after 2months, no updates from them. I have sent emails and even faxed them once. But no reply either. Please help me how to get in touch with them?

Have you mailed your passports?
If so, when?
Do you have proof that CIC has received your passports?

I have mailed by April 15 and the same has been received by CIC in April 16th. I have requested for signed acknowledgement from Canada post and i have the signature of the guy who received it in CPC-Ottawa.

In that case, I would email CPC-Ottawa and ask for an update. Have you done that?

Yes, atleast 5 to 6 emails i have sent so far. In fact i have contacted CIC customer care and they have asked me to mail CPC -ottawa.
But they are not replying for single email. . I only got the mail acknowledgement.
