Email regarding IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal

I received an email from IRCC on Saturday September 18th with a pdf attached. In the pdf it asked me to reply to the email with the following information:

- Name:

- UCI:

- Mail (as set out in this message):

- Original entry date:

- Date of last time you entered Canada:

- Location where you last entered:

I made sure the email ain't scam and then replied to it with the abovementioned info. I haven't received any email yet. Has anyone experienced this? Is it just another step in obtaining PR?

Yes, we got that. 3 times, actually, with 3 different dates on the pdf. After that we got the request for our photos to be sent to Ottawa.

How long after replying did you get the email?

The 3 original were sat, mon, tue. I think tue or wed I got the 2nd type.

The online system finally says I am approved. Now I have to figure out if my pics made it to Ottawa.
