Email Notification after Review of Eligibility Starts?

Hi everyone,

Will I get an actual email to my gmail account once they start reviewing my eligibility? Or will it just be an update in my case online?

I applied in the United States (F1 student, paper application linked to an online one) if that is important to know.

This might save me daily logins ;)

Check ur cic account for updates.. They wont be sending emails all the time.... Have seen in many threads that the applicants receiving updates only through their cic account.

I did not get any direct updates to my Gmail account. Only via the portal, I was able to see that my medicals have passed and that they are reviewing my eligibility. I did not receive any email from them. Applied on May 21st online spp. medicals passed exactly in four weeks and now reviewing of eligibility.
Therefore, please check the portal daily or at least alternative days to be duly informed.

Same here applied on 23 may after 4 weeks got email regarding status updated it was about the medical passed.
