Or you could just go and then apply for a PRTD while there. Take your PR renewal information with you when you go to submit to them. Just my opinion, but if your mom had a heart attack and they aren't scheduling the bypass for over a month, IRCC might not see it as urgent, given the time frame for the surgery. If they can wait that long it may not seem really urgent. Just thinking like a bureauocrat.

For Entry / Exit record for USA do they accept I94 record from website or we have to get full report from Freedom of information Act. Please share experience till now I just submitted I94 record. Please give your experience.

yes this works too.. but PRTD is always a bit tricky. its up to you to decide what you want to do...

THESE ARE THE TIMELINES AS THE THEY HAD TO WAIT FOR 2-3 WEEKS AS SHE IS TAKING A BLOOD THINING DRUG SO SHE CANT UNDER GO FOR OPERATION IMMEDIATELY I AM CONFUSED SHALL I GO FOR IT

Tough call. Have you talked with her doctors directly? What's her prognosis? If it's good, I'd wait and see if they will up the processing for your card. Even if they don't and the prognosis is good, if you have to apply for a PRTD, you should be alright.

My Goodnews to my forum Friends , Regular Reader who now got Pr Card after SR letter in Sept 2016 I was so depressed and sad from 7 months and now very happy finally as due to this i was not able to go to my home country and meet my parents and now i can !!!

my timeline is as under for everyone

APP DATE- JULY 2016, AOR DATE- AUG 2016, IP DATE -- AUG 2016 SR DATE --SEPT 2016
PRC SEND BY MAIL 19 FEB 2017 AND RECIEVED ON 23 FEB 2017 TOTAL TIME IN SR 5 MONTHS AND OVERALL TIME 7 MONTHS

i was constantly checking this forum from 7 months 3 times/day and finally relieved as i got PR Card


my total Days was 836 days in last 5 years and hence was stuck in this SR . i am sure all others will come out who are in SR and be relieved and i am waiting billc6 so that i can apply for citizenship without delay.

Just checked status, card sent by mail on Feb 27.

Seems like approval is getting speedier day by day.

Hi, Just off the phone with call center. My mom's card was sent to local office to pick up in person on March 10th. Secondary review was June 25th. 2 month after my dad's card. I sent the request and documents the same time. looks like in person pick up has 2 month delay compare to mailed cards.

I called CIC call center to check my renewal process and they said they sent the card on Feb27
Today I received the cards for all my family members.

20 month! very hectic and frustrating process.
Here is my timeline:

4.We sent you a letter on December 15, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
