PR card is just a means of travel. You keep your PR status regardless if your PR card expired or not. So yes you definitely can apply for citizenship if your card expired is is under review.askaan305 said:Can we apply for Citizenship if eligible even if PR card is expired or is under renewal process?
Saga: So as per your explanation we can apply for citizenship if we meet the criteria of 1460 days out of 6 years, then if we have passport then PR card is no use then why we need one :Saga said:PR card is just a means of travel. But you need to make sure that you really have the minimum required number of days to apply for citizenship otherwise your application will take years
Once you have the Citizenship then you don't need the PR card. But until then, you need the PR card.HUDA CANADA said:Saga: So as per your explanation we can apply for citizenship if we meet the criteria of 1460 days out of 6 years, then if we have passport then PR card is no use then why we need one :
Hi newcanuck1234, thanks for your response. I don't think it's an issue with my photo, because in the file that I received it's written:newcanuck1234 said:Hi MatQue...the positive residence determination seems positive. Maybe there is an issue with your photo? Perhaps that's what the 'error' in production might be. You may want to call up IRCC on Monday to get clarification on this.
Best of luck!
The following link has some information on calling IRCC from overseas. I havent tried it myself but you may want to give it a try.MatQue said:Hi newcanuck1234, thanks for your response. I don't think it's an issue with my photo, because in the file that I received it's written:

I can't call IRCC because I'm outside Canada. Is there a number that is not 1888???
Thanks

I just called CIC from overseas (Brazil) and was told that my card was sent today to my address in Montreal!!! SO HAPPY! But the status on e-cas is still the same.
The agent told me that the problem with card production was due to my name being miswritten.
How long do you guys think it will take to get in my mailbox???
SO RELIEVED! I would like to thank you guys for the support.
