Email from CIC saying that they did not get my Medicals.

Hi all,

I just got an email from CIC saying that my Medicals (performed on Nov 18th) have not been received:

Dear applicant,

We have not received your completed medical results. Please contact your physician and ensure that your results were submitted to our health branch.

Regards,


Right away, I called the doctor Richard Chan and he said that he submitted everything on Nov 25th. Said that, I don't know what should I do. The physician says something that either - certainly - is not true or CIC has issues to locate my eMedical.

It would be fantastic to have some feedback from someone who faced a similar situation.

If I were you ;
1) Send scanned copy of MR receipt to CIC
2) Ask my Dr to again upload result (Immediately)

Thanks guys for replying back. I just called the doctor. He said that he uploaded my case in Nov 25th. Everything seems right from his perspective. I'll scan and attach the receipts when replying back to CIC. I guess there is nothing else to do.

Hi Maxmore,

Im sitting with the exact same issue. Have you heard anything from them yet?

We are three applicants, they received 2 medicals but not mine(main applicant). They also asked me to follow up with the doctors office which I did and they confirmed that all medicals has been uploaded as can be seen on the receipts.

Also sent CIC the receipts.

I had received the similar email stating I have not commenced my medicals. This I received 10 months after completing the medicals! I had sent them the scanned copy of receipt with UMI number. After few days they updated the ECAS status as medicals received. Please send them the scanned copy and mention UMI number.

Hello!

We received an email today stating that CIC had not received our medicals which were completed and submitted to CIC December 4th 2014 as per our eMedical information sheet provided by the Immigration Doctor. I have uploaded our eMedical forms as well as all the information requested so fingers crossed they come back with positive news. We had our request to pay RPRF fee on March 10th so I assumed all was in order, apparently not :(

I went to Dr Richard Chan for my pre-medical as well. One of the applicant came at that time that his medicals were not submitted yet. Apparently, the clinic made mistake and flipped his first and last name which seemed to be causing the issue. So they corrected it at that moment.
Reading more instances from his clinic is scaring me :p

This is the response I received from the physician today when I asked if it was a common occurrence for CIC not to have received medicals:

Yes this happens most often. How it works is that your medicals are
forwarded to CIC but the Regional Medical Office (medical department of
immigration) in Ottawa. They process the results (as they have a panel of
phycisians and Medical officers) and once they are done they forward their
final reviews to your visa office. This process can take anywhere from 1-3
months. Sometimes the communication between the visa office and the
medical office fails. So this happens. You get a letter saying that they
haven't received your reports. The best way to combat this is to forward
them your proof of medicals (information sheets you provided me) to the
visa office. You can email them (if they let you) mail it to them or call.
Depending which is faster.

As for the medicals, once they leave our database we no longer have access
to them. I hope this information helps

So, it appears that even if the physician uploads the eMedicals, they have to go through the Regional Medical Office before reaching CIC. What really worries me is that we received our medical request on Nov 14 and had 60 days to submit our medicals and CIC have only just contacted us now to tell us. I really hope they are able to find them asap!
