Email from CIC but no update?

Hi

Got an email from CIC right now as below:

"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information."

But there's no update in MyCIC. What does this mean?
 
Nothing possibly.

I have been receiving this email approximately 24 hrs after I made a change on the profile. Have received it daily for the last 3 days. I would suggest not reading too much into this, just how the system is designed I guess.
 
What are your scores kashish and hotshot?
It is a rumour that the profiles which will be picked in the next draw receive such mails usually. ;D
 
My score is 441.

Although I received the email on the last draw date also. I still feel it is linked to profile updates but won't mind getting an ITA this week and hope the rumor is correct!

This is definitely wrong information.
I am 451 and I received such emails before 4th and 6th draws.
This only indicates that CIC is sampling the top candidates, but nothing more.
