Hi all,
No it is not what you think, CIC London did not email me back to saying that was April fools!
Actually this time they are insisting that I send in passports within the designated 45 days period.
I emailed them earlier asking for a 6 weeks extension, they emailed back saying that I will need to stick to the 45 days period unless I really have very good reasons.
My spouse is visiting Canada (applied for a visa before the passports request came) and I am in a foreign country and I need to hang on our passports as long as possible, I am hesitating to give them this reason in fear they will think it is trivial, or cancel the temporary visa for my spouse.
anybody with a similar experience?
In the past CIC London were very generous with extensions, seems they ran out of patience!
Suggestions please .....
