First will see Welcome to MyCIC,

Scroll down & u will see
View my submitted applications or profiles

Then click - Check status & messages

Then you will see Application/profile details but scroll down to the bottom left & click on view submitted application.

You will see Your name-Candidate Express Entry

Look for Personal Details & click on Update Form.

Then once the page loads fully, scroll down & click on Family

Now enter the new amount which can be found here - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Then click on Save & Exit.

After that you will see Express Entry profile

Finally you scroll down & click on Save & Exit

So is getting an email like this a positive thing or is it just computer generated to update one's profile?

jeffkang - I am still waiting in the pool to get an invitation so dont know what's required for AOR applicants.

AfricanPrncss - For single applicant the the proof of funds increased from $11,824 to $12,164. There has been similar increases for applicant with more family members. As the increase happened recently we need to update the amount to latest figure in the mycic profile.

Wish I'd read your thread earlier, had to open a new EE account. Hope next month's CRS lowers by 35points, tired of the international student status
