hi there ,
you dont need to if you are willing to take english courses there and pass the test.
there are some universities which can accpet you as a student if you willing to join english course ( English as a second language programe ) like , Memorial university ( Newfoundland ) and the university of British Colombia .

Mostly all universities require TOEFL or IELTS.. and if not the university; the embassy requires it for sure!! So in case of CANADA TOEFL is a must!!
i dont think so that the embassy requires it , once you got the acceptance letter from the university , be aware that a lot of students go to canada to study English as a second language and they apply for a student visa , so how come they should have a Toefl or Ielts??inquiry001 said:
