Hi from Greece... I'd like to share my case with you and would appreciate any advice: I'm 25 years old, got accepted in a university here in Greece but didn't attend it a few years ago, I have work experience, mainly as call center agent, in customer service field. I am very interested in the IT field of studies (very PC literate, also have a certificate in Microsoft Office) and would like to apply in a college/institution for a diploma in this field.
My question is whether I'll be eligible for the Study Visa... (I can provide financial assistance-security that is required),and also will it be positive that my spouse (she has a college diploma in executive assistance-medical secretary) would like to apply for spousal visa, so that she would have an open work permit during the 1-2 years of the studies? I read something about "ties to your home country" as reason for refusal... anybody knows exactly what this means? Thanks in advance...

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
What is your profile? Your level of education? ..
As per books .. You need to apply in a relevant field where there isnt an issue of a study mismatch.
Also, spouse visa is a very stringent process. If you apply for that you need to show enough funds to support both of you while you are here (For the first year .. atleast) ...

Family Ties is one of the common reasons of rejection. The visa officer rejects your visa saying that he is not convinced that you will leave canada after your studies. From what I have read, showing documents with your assets in your home country helps. Also attaching documents of your family members working in Greece might help too.
