I think many are getting their Sponsor Approvals at about 35 - 40 days now. When I was waiting for my Sponsor Approval starting last May, I was 70 days. You can expect to be much faster than mine was.

Sponsorship eligiblity is done fast. However the remaining process takes forever. What makes you concerned by eligibility?

simpsol22 is correct here. There is a whole pile of inland applicants who would staunchly disagree here. Myself included. Submitted March 2, 2016. Still no SA.

If you are an Inland Spousal applicant, average has been 16-18 months for Sponsor approval....but under the new application kit, released December 15, 2016, it's hard to say how long it will take since the full app process should be 12 months (not sure when you applied).
