Hi All,

I am Ranjan from Dhaka. I want to apply for Canada Immigration. I have completed B.Com and M.Com which total 16 years of education. After than I have completed Executive MBA Program for 39 credits, because I got weaver due to M.Com. It takes 2 years. Should I calculate my total year of Study 17 years with MBA ?

I am confused because some people telling me executive MBA is not calculate 1 year to get any point and some people telling it is calculate.

Could anybody help me to give proper information to remove this confusion.

If MBA is full time and duration of program is at least 1 years, it will be counted as you education point....

Your Education will be

12+BCom+MCom+MBA == Total 17 years of Education

If all the program you have studied in full time and duration of each program is atleast 1 year and you have 17 years of total education....
You will be awarded 25 maximum point for education category..

I can not understand what do u mean by full time.

I have completed Executive MBA. My class duration is 6 P.m to 9 P.m 3 days or 2 days in a week as per subject wise. It takes 18 months to complete my MBA

Now how can I calculate

as far as i know if u hv masters degree u get full 25.and with your m com which is ithink 2yrs and bcom 3 yrs plus mba it s/b 17yrs.

Master’s or PhD AND at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study

in the year 1997 that time B.Com was 2 years and M.Com Also 2 years. Thats why problem.

I have completed executive MBA 39 credits. My class was held 2 or 3 days a week at 6 pm to 9 pm . It takes approx 2 years to completed. Is it possible to calculated of full time education 1 year

If anybody have the clear idea about this matter plz help.........

You can claim 25 point for education..

For full time education point, you study at least 15 hours/week.

Now you are writing, your college timing was 6PM to 9PM. It means 3 hours/day, you must claim you went to college daily for 3 hour and 18 hour/week.....

If you say, you study 3 hour and 2-4 days/week, It will not count as full time education....

could u plz tell me how much time per day the accept as full time?

Do they need any writing from the university for time duration or they personally go to university for justify....?

15 hours / week is acceptable as a full time..

Evening program will be consider as full time

but distance learning or correspondence courses will not get any point...

They will ask you college/ university or visit website to very the program what you study and They will also get all the details in your markcard/ certificate and degree...

Dear Ranjan,

Executive MBA From Bangladesh will be counted if this degree from Public University otherwise HRDC will not give + response.
