Visa chances are always unpredictable. You have good ielts score. What is your percentage of maths in 10?

You have scored good in maths in your grade 10 so that can give you advantage. I would recommend you to apply in college not in uni. You will get offer from college but uni may decline. So without wasting any time apply for college. Your profile is not too bad and visa chances for everyone is always 50/50.

Good luck :)

55+ in every subject?
Can you be more specific?
Math is definitely a problem but your marks in other subjects will also be a contributing factor in your chances. There are people with 65%+ getting rejected. Just have to keep that in mind.

Rest is your luck.

hey buddy,,how is this possible that with 65 plus marks somebody is getting refused due to marks,,buddy they require just 50 percnet in our latest qualification,,the ppl who are getting refusaed with 65 plus marks,,they might b refused due to irrelevant courses,or something else....!!!i don't think so that they are getting refused due to low marks like me!!!!however, one frnd of mine with 34 marks in maths gone to USA,,one with 33 to australia,,and one with 33 in canada too......so if my course would be relevant,it should not b the problem.....another thing, these marks are just requirement of SPP,,n colleges are offering letter of acceptance to those students, who are eligible for SPP,,so if am able to get an offer letter, there would not be any issue......!!!don't you think bro...??

Getting accepted in a college is not a big deal and normally anyone can get in with a simple application and fees. I know of a college (that is on the SPP list) that gave someone a letter of acceptance without even looking at their mark sheet, a simple application + $100 application fees.

Universities are a better measure because they wont touch anybody with less than their minimum required GPA (which i usually around 70%+). Thats why those with university admission normally have a better chance of getting a visa (provided they dont completely screw up their application). Those with college admissions are looked more closely by visa officers.

Same thing with the logical progression of studies... based on your logic, visa officers should not care about that since the college has given admission to a technical program to someone with no technical background.

So, yes, they still may consider your marks in the overall process. some are just lucky to get away with it. There is another person on this forum who had low marks in 12'th and got into an argument with me when i said that low marks could be a problem. He gave the same example of his friends with lower marks who got visa's. He went on to get 2 rejections. The rejection letters are often all too vague and point out multiple things. Thats why people order CAIPS notes to find the actual reason of refusal. So what i am saying is that low marks may or may not determine the outcome, but you have to consider that and be prepared. Being in denial makes it worse to handle rejection.

But what i am pointing out is probably something you dont want to hear. so i'll leave it at that.
