Hi there,
I applied for a student visa online (via CIC) a couple of days ago, now I can see in myCIC account a new request for filling out form which called Eligibility Verification for OCWP. Should I fill it up or not because OCWP only for those who is study over 6 month already, but I'm new one. I've never been studying in Canada before and my plan is ESOL courses first and college next (I have two Letters of Acceptance)

Thank you

Dude.. if it is a request, then I guess you should go ahead and fill it up..

Because if its a mandatory requirement for further processing of your application then you really do not have a choice.. do u ??

Also, CIC mite be trying to judge your eligibility for the same in case you go there and are interested in OCWP..
Did you check it as YES in the application wizard?

Senior members might guide more..

Maybe waiting till u get a visa.. Wud b a better choice..
I guess its not mandatory.. Or they wud have asked u as a condition..

I asked someone who got visa after online appln..
He didnt fill it as yet..

Don't worry. You're not eligible as of now for OCWP as you need to study in Canada first for a minimum duration of 6 months. It's just an eligibility verification request to find out whether you are eligible for OCWP or no. Ignore it. It has nothing to do with your study permit application.
