Hi I got this email after few months of AOR what that means I checked I PR portal nothing Action require below I’m sending the letter from ircc

This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-

Law Partner in Canada Class.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence

as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final

decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident

have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you

and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not

applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you

and all your family members have met these requirements.

IMPORTANT: Passports for yourself and your family members must be valid for the duration of

your stay in Canada. If you or your family member(s) have updated your passport, please submit

a copy of your new passport as soon as possible.

Temporary Resident Status in Canada

You must have legal temporary resident status in Canada to remain in the country legally. Having

legal temporary residence status means you are in possession of a document issued by

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) which allows you to remain in Canada for

the period of time specified on this document. This document may be in the form of a visitor

extension, work permit, study permit or temporary resident permit.

Although out-of-status spouses and common-law partners may now apply for permanent

residence in the Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada Class, persons without legal

immigration status in Canada may be subject to removal proceedings at any time for failing

This is great . This is AIP I think

What means AIP ? And how long they will take to get my PR ? Sorry for asking so many questions I’m kind a stress
You have a long way to go. When did you apply? For inland applications is 12 months updated in December. So if you just apply , you have different stages to go through

it literally means your eligibility to apply in this family class is passed
did you link your application to GCkey or create a tracker account? you will see more information there

AIP is the most important step, since is means that the sponsor has been approved AND the relationship to the sponsor had been approved.

The rest may take very little time to process.

Yes that’s right but Background is the longest , that’s why I said they have a long way to go, I also asked when did they apply because they asked how long to get Pr. And it wasn’t the sponsor that’s was for the applicant , the applicant passed eligibility to become permanent resident which is great. But I think the person is asking about the process and how long .
