Not totally sure I understand what you are asking however as sure you know to qualify for citizenship you need to show 3 years physical presence in the 5 years preceeding your application.

So for example in your case if you applied Feb 1 2018 then any presence in Canada whether as a visitor or a PR since Feb 1 2013.

Any time before becoming a PR gets credited even if a visitor at one half day for every full day. So if that is your question then sure include any days prior to becoming a PR in the 5 years from the date you apply for citizenship, the tool should do the rest. So visit days prior to August 18 2014.

Note these are physical presence days only so days out of the country do not count.

Thanks for your reply but I didn’t leave Canada after I landed August 18-2014( only for summer vacations ). and didn’t visit it before landing

Hi.. I have similar question.. I have landed in sep 2015. As per the 1095 days requirement, I have already finished my eligibility 1 year back.
My question is when the form says 5 year eligibility period, Do i needed to give address, job information for the 5th year as well even am in Canada continuously for 4 years, only. So I will then require to inform about my information before I landed Canada ?
Please help let me know

Thanks
Saurabh

Yes you must give details of your job and address even if you were in Canada. Yes you will also need to include your information from when you weren’t in Canada. Would follow the instructions.

Thanks so much Canuck.
