Hi Everyone,

AOR: July 5,2020
Medical passed: August 25,2020
Bio Request: August 25,2020 which is exempt under the new rule as I had provided my biometrics previously for WP.
I am just curious as my Biometric section is not updated on portal and still says biometrics not received. Is anyone in the same stage ?
Also, there is no update on eligibility, everything is showing in progress.

Hi, what time did you call ? Also what options did you select to reach the agent ? I am trying since past 2 weeks and not able to reach the agent. Tried morning and afternoon.

I always call them between 08:00-08:30 am, when they open. I dial 3410 to reach an agent.

What number do you call? I call 1-888-242-2100 but the menu doesn't match and if I press 3410 I am taken to the wrong option and am not connected to an agent.

Your eligibility is already recommended passed, so there is no point ordering GCMSS notes that takes about 4 weeks to receive. And by then you would most likely have got your PR.

Passing the eligibility stage is the most important aspect of the PR application. You just have to wait to receive your COPR.

If your eligibility has been conclusively passed (not just recommended pass), security should begin automatically. It’ll continue to show not started until you’re finally approved, even though it’s in progress.

In rare cases it might show in progress but it’s not necessarily a good thing - could be a sign that you’re under security screening.
