Hi everyone,
My boyfriend and I are currently in Canada on two-year IEC work permits. We're thinking about applying for Permanent Residency this summer, but I'm a bit confused about the eligibility requirements.
I was planning to apply as the principal applicant, as I have skilled work experience (NOC A) but my boyfriend hasn't been working since we moved here, so he won't have any Canadian work experience. Will we both still be able to apply for Express Entry with me as the principal? Or will he be ineligible? If he is ineligible, can he remain in Canada with me, but not be able to work?
Thank you!
