Eligibility not started in the tracker

I'm an FSW-O single applicant. I'm seeing that applications are being processed really quickly, especially for FSW-Os. In my case, there has been no update since 17 May. I submitted my application on 2 May and submitted biometrics on 16 May, post which, the BG section on the tracker showed "in progress". I have called IRCC multiple times until last week, when I stopped calling them as they were giving me the same information that was there on the tracker.

All this while, for almost a month, the eligibility section is stuck on "not started". While people with similar AOR and dependant etc. are already getting their PPRs. I won't have been feeling this anxious if the section was at least in progress. Anyone is or was in a similar situation? Please let me know.. it would really help. Thanks in advance!

Processing times can vary depending on several factors, including the complexity of your case, the volume of applications being processed, and the specific program you have applied to.

My tracker is now closed, and eligibility still "Not Started".

Don't worry too much about the tracker, it's not a reliable source of information from my experience. You are better off with GCMS notes (but it takes approximately a month).

Hi everyone I applied on march 18 , I see everyone after me has started getting their portal requests but my eligibility has not even started yet. Even my background check criminality is passed but security not started , since 3 months. Anyone in same situation?

So here’s what I found out since then:

I applied for GCMS notes on July 11 and got them Aug 11. I had gotten a ghost update on July 4 (according to gcms notes this was for criminality being passed) . Then got another ghost update on July 14 (this was for info sharing passed) . My eligibility is still recommended passed from May 30.

So my last update was July 14, I’m just waiting for any other updates but nothing since then.

How about you? What’s your timeline? Do you have any updates ?

My tracker says background check in progress and eligibility check bit less started. I’m yet to request for gcms notes. A friend had got his PPR as we applied on the same day. I’m just wondering

Oh your timeline looks good, maybe you can call IRCC to get an update on where your background and eligibility is.

I understand, I’ve even seen some people who applied mid July and have gotten PPR already. I have no idea what’s going on with IRCC. It seems unfair though.

I applied on June 07, applied gcms on Aug 21 and received on Aug 30, criminality and info sharing passed.
But eligibility: not started
