Eligibility letter from IRCC - what does it mean?

I am currently on a working holiday VISA in Canada and applied for my Sponsorship from here. I received the letter of eligibility a couple of weeks ago and it mentions applying for an OWP. Do I need to apply for an OWP if I am currently already working here?

If you're status is expiring then yes you can apply. This is more of a 'want to' rather than a 'need to' situation.
